Meet Miranda Bondeson

Hello! My name is Miranda, I have been at Fissan since January 2023. I work in the daycare, with the boarding dogs and as a trainer and assistant trainer. I have been training dogs since July of 2022, however I have been around and worked with dogs my whole life. I attended college with Theatre as my major. I am still involved in Theatre, but due to the challenges of finding a career in that field, I have switched to dog training which has always been a dream of mine. Fissan warmly welcomed me into their family, helping me fulfill that dream. I've known since I was young that I wanted to work with animals, but I was never sure in what aspect. I’ve always enjoyed being around dogs and people, and training fulfills both passions! I have decided now through much contemplation I want to specialize as a K9 trainer. Working alongside and learning from the wonderful trainers at Fissan has been the best experience I could ever ask for. They have been helping me, along with pushing me to be the best dog handler as well as trainer I can be. The amount of knowledge I have learned from everyone on the team is astounding. I have worked with different training styles, however I believe Carol’s philosophy of balanced training is the best by far and I am so proud to be passing that knowledge along to our clients. We take any dog with any background and any kind of history which I am so fortunate to be able to experience.
